Walk 19: Saturday 20-May-17 Industrial Coleford

The route explores Coleford’s industrial heritage, particularly the stories of the Teagues & the Mushets.  From Town the walk will saunter down to Whitecliff Furnace and follow the old railway line to the Dark Hill iron works and examine the site of the Titanic Steel works on Fetter Hill.

The walk is expected to take about 3 hours.

A moderate challenge- some walking in the woods and uphill with some more difficult terrain.
