Walk 24: Sunday 21-May-17 Hidden Heritage Hike around Cannop Valley

Join your host, Bob Smith, to explore the hidden heritage around Cannop Valley.

The hike takes in the various industries, including colleries and quarries, and tram roads of this once very important and very busy little valley. Starts at Cannop wharf, continues along the old railway line through Bixslade Valley.

Although not intended to be too strenuous, there will be a lot of walking involved, so moderate fitness and stout walking shoes are essential.

Parking is available at the layby opposite Cannop Stoneworks.

Friendly dogs (on leads) are very welcome.
